Knitted in Shetland-character wool which is spun in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The "Aviemore" yoke Fair isle jumper has a 2-tone design for an understated take on the fair isle look. It has a ribbed crew neck, hem & cuffs. This jumper is knitted "in the round" so is seamless - a traditional technique for fair isles & a zero-waste production method. They were for 1960s "Ski wear" - normally a 2 colour pattern featuring dots & snow flakes. When naming this design, it was an obvious choice to call it "Aviemore" after the town at the heart of the Scottish ski industry. 9 Colours.
