I wander the hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine, a unique, ancient landform located just north of Lake Ontario & am continually inspired by what I see every day. This acrylic painting is completed on thin paper laid onto gessoed thin Masonite panel 8 x 8 inches. Signed & dated lightly in pencil H. Stooshinoff, 2023, top left & on reverse. The surface of the painting has been lightly varnished & buffed with cold wax medium to give it a warm luster. Sold framed, as shown, in a wood float frame that has been lightly whitewashed & finished in water-based non-yellowing satin varathane. External frame dimensions 9 x 9 x 1.5 inches. The piece is ready to hang right out of the package. I have been painting & exhibiting my artwork for over 40 years; I paint every day.
