Elegant asymmetrical 1950s Italian Modernist style ceramic vase. The vase has a rather original shape, frontally it is black, as well as internally, while the back is white. Equally particular & interesting is the shape of the handle applied directly on the vase & especially the surface, entirely covered with a dense white relief texture. See photos. On the vase is the mark of the Santucci Deruta artistic ceramics manufactory, active between the early 1950s & the 1990s in Perugia.
