The Shrine was founded 1900 years ago, boasting the longest history for a shrine Omi. The name of the shrine, "Shirahige," means "white beard" in English, & true to its name, the god of this shrine is known as a god of longevity. The photograph is a part of an ongoing project called Silence, (Doing impossible catching silence). Photographed with medium format 6x6 Hasselblad analog camera. All works are printed using Epson Stylus Pro 9900 Printer & Ultrachrome® HDR inks on professional glossy photo paper with small white border to make mounting & framing easy.
