Named after a wonderful butcher (Rosa Lloris, with the great typography in its logo) who trades in the Mercat Central, Valencia's beautiful glass & steel, Art Nouveau food market. Add a chopped up business card from an antiquarian book seller, some contemporary typographic detail, bold colour shapes, & it sings! ORIGINAL ART WORK Is available You may purchase the original artwork. It will be shipped, carefully packaged, via UPS Express in approximately 3 business days. These are handmade, living pieces, many with overhanging elements from the collage assembly & the pieces are mounted in a slightly raised fashion (so as to appear floating) above a white, acid-free matte. We use Museum Glass, specially coated to make the viewing of the art completely glare & reflection-free (it looks like there is no glass; all you see is the artwork), as well as being 92% UV filtering (a very important feature, due to the use of fragile, paper ephemera). PRINTS Like the original pieces, the prints are designed to include a digital bright white surround "matte" to allow the piece to "float". Features: Heavyweight, white, premium matte paper which has a natural, smooth uncoated finish that feels luxurious to the touch. The 200 gsm/ 80 lb paper weight makes it durable & long-lasting. We use FSC-certified paper or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability. Please note: Paper sizes may vary slightly by region. For the US & Canada, the measurement is in inches, while for the rest of the world, it is in centimeters. Although the originals vary in size, we try to find the closest print size to represent the original work, & the matte increases that size by approximately 1/2" on each side. FRAMED PRINTS The white frame is made from pine, is 20-25mm /0.79"-0.98" thick & 10-14mm /0.4"-0.6" wide, providing the perfect balance of durability & style. To keep your print looking its best, we use shatterproof, transparent plexiglass to protect it from damage. Importantly, the print is ready to hang as it is delivered within the frame, using the matte paper described above. We include hanging hardware with every order, making it easy to mount.
