Rare Antique Georgian brooch from the late 18th century of Iberian origin, made in silver & gold, set with 42 rose cut diamonds of various sizes, with an estimated total weight of 2.85 carat & 5 natural rubies.The central rose diamond measure 6mm diameter. Period: Antique Georgian circa 1790s. Condition: Good commensurate to its age. Material Silver & gold safety chain, weighing 20 gram. Diamonds: 42 rose cut diamonds of various sizes with a total weight of approx. 2.85 carat. Central rose diamond weighs. 0.45 carat, measuring 6mm diameter. Gemstone: 5 Natural rubies. Dimensions: Height 4.5 cm/ 1.77 inches, width 3 cm/ 1.18 inches. NOTE: in order to preserve the original condition of the jewel, stones have not been removed from their setting.
