It's fully varnished with ecologic varnish to protect the wood from humidity. We are speciallists in music boxes, so both the box & the mechanism are carefully checked to make sure you will get a perfect music box to give it as a gift. Select the type of mechanism: hand cranked (you have to crank to listen to the music) or wind-up (you wind it up & it sounds automatically when you open the box). This is an estimation; you will be able to see the preparation time more accurately in the details of the item or during the checkout. Depending on the shipping method chosen, the music box will be shipped via your National Post Service (slower) or FedEx (faster): → Standard shipping (free) 1-2 weeks to Europe & 2-4 weeks rest of the world. We can't guarantee it, since it depends on customs of the destination country. When you place the order, if you select this standard shipping, you will see that it can take several weeks. I prefer to say show this just in case it's delayed, but in the 90% of cases it's not delayed, specially in shippings to Europe, that takes just a few days. These delivery times are estimated. If you choose standard shipping you accept that delivery time can be longer. Sometimes the item can be stopped or pending in the customs queue.
