Top Withens, Wuthering Heights I live in the Pennine Moors close to this house, & love to paint these wild, open desolate landscapes. This work is painted with acrylic paints on stretched & prepared canvas, & is varnished with layers of silk varnish for protection & a gentle sheen. The video shows pages from my visual journals. These are sketched on location & form the basis of later paintings made in the studio.
