Description
This hand-painted, primitive checkerboard was inspired by my love for antique game boards. This board incorporates pine rails around the border of the board, & on each end for storing game pieces during play. I use milk paint & a multi-step aging process to create the appearance of a time-worn heirloom. This design is painted on solid pine. This piece measures approximately 12" wide x 21" tall (including frame) & weighs approximately 5 pounds. Hanging hardware is included. Every piece that I create is an individual work of art, & slight variations in color & aging appearance add to their unique charm. My designs are made to order & are intended for indoor display only.
