From an oil painting of the area around Loughrigg near Ambleside in the English Lakes on a sunny & crisp December afternoon - this small series is an attempt to capture the distinct light as the sun hits the bracken making it ablaze against the steely blue sky. This painting is one of X6 small paintings in oil on canvas from this area that make up the 'LOUGHRIGG' series as seen on my website. The originals are all SOLD but prints are available I only keep a limited number of prints available in the studio, so some will have to be produced to order - which will extend the delivery time.
