WHAT YOU RECEIVE: Original Watercolor, size 4 in. x 8 in. ABOUT THE ART: This small watercolor painting was made in my studio using a reference photo I took in April 2023 on the Iliff Commons Trail capturing the quickly setting sun & showing Menninger's tower in the silhouette. I use a mix of professional watercolors & native pigments to ensure the art does not fade (excellent lightfastness). Lightfastness is the ability a dye or pigment has to endure light & retain its original color over time. HELPFUL TIPS: Because it's original art, it is suggested to place behind UV-protective glass. Regular glass protects art against dust & scratches, but UV-protective glass also reflects sunlight helping to keep your original art safe for a long time. Because this piece is painted edge to edge, placing it on top of a solid mat board sized larger than the art & then adding the frame will prevent the edges from being cropped out by the frame. Additionally, a floating frame would look spectacular! HOW IT IS SHIPPED: The art is packaged with a protective backer board & placed in an archival clear bag & sealed.
