The rectangular shape of my hats - over many years of testing - is the best hat shape to allow the ears to "stand up". If you look at the numerous reviews in my store that have photos, you will see that all the hats with ears are rectangular. One gesture of slightly bending the corners forward with your hands after putting them on ensures the best look. I don't sew on these corner folds because clients' heads are different & just one simple gesture allows the hat to fit perfectly on any head.
