This is a fabulous 80s vintage LL Bean purple & teal hooded ski coat! It's royal purple Gore-Tex with teal accents lining the collar, placket & cuffs. Inside it's lined with a tan mesh breathable material until halfway down, where the material becomes a solid metallic lining for extra warmth. The hood can be folded up inside the collar & sealed away with a metal snap. This cool jacket fastens up the front all the way to the top of the collar with six purple metal snaps & a heavy duty purple YKK brand double pull zipper. The cuffs are secured with Velcro. Outside, there are what appear to be four generous cargo pockets that zip & snap closed, but the chest pockets are actually three pockets EACH! They open individually from the top, the left side & the right side, as they are created in overlapping layers. in the interior there is one extra zippered chest pocket, giving this parka NINE handy pockets to store all your gear! There is an inside drawstring to adjust the waist. Gore-Tex is waterproof & windproof, making this an excellent choice for chilly outdoor activities. This garment is in good, freshly laundered, clean condition with some stains on the cuffs & exterior pockets that didn't come out in the wash. Please see the close up photo for an example, there are about 5 stains like the one pictured. Each of the purple metal snaps is embossed with the LL Bean logo, & the label reads "LL Bean Freeport Maine, Made in USA, Shell: Nylon Gore Tex, Lining: Polyester, Size: XL Regular, Gore Tex," with machine wash or dry clean instructions. It fits like a Men's XL or Women's 2XL & measures: Chest - 52 inches, Shoulders - 24 inches, Sleeves - 22.5 inches, Length - 32 inches. Our model Cayden is 5'11" tall with a 35 inch chest & 30 inch waist & they typically wear a Men's Small or Medium. This was oversized on them.
