This pendant is cast in sterling silver & then plated with 2.5 microns of 18 carat gold & has a molten metal texture to the surface. It comes hung on a sterling silver chain that has also been 18 carat gold plated. Tanzanite is a beautiful purple gemstone & is the birthstone for December.
