This original oil on canvas painting measures 36" x 12" & was painted straight from my seven year old memories of gorgeous summer afternoons on Paynes' dock on Block Island. Doris Payne kept a salt water taffy & T-shirt shop on the dock & it was such a treat to go in there & purchase little trinkets & candy! I hope that looking at this painting with its colorful starbursts evokes magical memories of happy summer times, & makes you feel a stiff Block Island breeze on your sunburned shoulders. I had smile cramps when I was painting this & I hope it brings you joy as well. The edges are painted a neutral gray, & there's a wire on the back so that it is ready to hang.
