It is made out of 100% cotton fabric, two layers of cotton batting & cotton thread, so it is microwave safe. Simply place your bowl with its contents in the microwave & warm it up. Also works great for cold foods like ice cream, so your hands don't freeze. The cozy is reversible, as shown in the above pictures. in the photos I used two cozy's together so you can see each side.
