These automatic watches work best if you are an active person. If you lead a sedentary life & don't move your watch arm very often, it's very likely that the watch will not power up on its own to keep running over time. Also, if an automatic watch has not been worn & has not been running, it takes the same kind of winding attention to power up. in either case you must manually wind it between 60 & 80 times in order for it to gain the full power it needs to run accurately. If you try to wear it after only winding it 15 or 20 times, I guarantee that it will not run or keep time for you.
