Textured, dark blue fluorite is heavily coated with scalenohedral (dogtooth) calcite crystals with multi-generational growth. The fluorite is a rich, dark blue color & is translucent when held to the light. The fluorite is also UV reactive, fluorescing a bright blue under UV light. The dogtooth calcite crystals are translucent, golden brown calcite points, that have grown on to the tips of the crystals. Many of these tips have an iridescent coating on them as well. The base is blue & brown fluorite. This fantastic specimen sits perfectly upright for a beautiful display.
