Fun vintage set by Jack Winter. Fiber contents unknown, the top feels like a soft cotton or blend. The shorts are a thicker & also feel like cotton. The button up top has side vents & a straight bottom hem - meant to be worn untucked. The shorts have some darts at the waist & a side zipper closure with hook top. The back waistband has an inserted elastic band that fastens to buttons to allow some adjustment for size. No pockets. I estimate it to be from the 1960s. MeasurementsI would estimate it to fit like a size M in today's sizing. But please refer to measurements. For reference, shown photographed on a mannequin with bust 40.5" / waist 33"/ hips 42" & the set was too snug on it as well as too small in the waist. Compare with your own measurements & allow for some room. Measurements while flat & doubled when applicable. Top Bust: 40" Shoulder to shoulder: 16" Shoulder to hem: 24" Shorts: Waist: 27" to 29" max Hips: approx 44" Inseam: 14.25" Outseam: 28" top of shorts to bottom at the side Front rise: 14.75" from the crotch to top of waistband= high waist Condition Overall good condition with the exception of a hole in the back & a pulled thread on the front right. See photos. Some overall fading. Both pieces have been hand washed & air dried, so they are clean & wearable.
