A simple pattern sailboat wall hanging made of stoneware clay & porcelain, made by our shop member, Opto.It is a square, hand built wall tile of stoneware, high fire clay. A small sailboat takes up the centre on this grey wall tile.It is at sea & sails quite happily.It has two triangle sails, one a little smaller than the other.They are painted white.There is a small banner/flag over them.The vessel underneath is made of a handbuilt, porcelain piece.It is trapeze in shape & has a colourful lines pattern.On one of the lines there are dots.The colours of the lines are white, green & yellow. There is also a white, painted crescent moon on the right side. The waves, underbneath the boat, have been carved & painted.The same for the moon & all the lines on the boat wall tile.There are two, white lines among the waves as an extra, decorative touch.Our shop member has signed the tile on the lower, left corner. This is a unique, ceramic wall hanging with a lovely theme.It measures 17.5cm in length x 18cm in height x 2cm in width.
