This is a handmade 11-inch Black Cherry spatula. It has beautiful color & grain. I like its all-around look & all-around use. This will brighten your countertop! It is very sturdy as well as good looking! I make my spatulas one at a time by hand so there will be slight variations from the tool pictured. There will also be slight variations in grain & color. These spatulas come from a tree from our woodlot here in Central Iowa. It was worked down by hand & then sanded smooth to 400 grit. I then raised the grain with water & re-sanded. It was then treated with food safe mineral oil after which it was coated with a layer of food grade beeswax/carnauba oil. A complimentary small bottle of food safe mineral oil & a small tin of food safe beeswax/carnauba come with your order to keep it looking sharp!
