Here is a stunning pair of original antique watercolour paintings, both dated 1842 from the early Victorian period. This wonderful pair of still life paintings have been intricately painted in watercolour, both depict a plate of fruit, one with a butterfly & the other with a wasp as seen in the photos. Both are signed R.S. & dated 1842, very detailed & skilfully painted. They come in what I believe are later wooden frames with inner gilded oval detail, behind glass & ready to hang straight on the wall. They are in good condition for there age with some foxing to the paper & some marks & scratches to the frames, please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. Would look amazing hung in a Victorian style kitchen & would make great talking pieces.
