Description
This is an early 19th century Copeland & Garrett ironstone plate with a lovely Chinese design in strong colors of deep cobalt blue, orange-red, green, & yellow. The mark dates the plate to circa 1833. It measures approximately 10-3/8" across. Excellent condition with a tiny glaze flake. There are smudges of blue glaze on the back & a couple of stilt marks.
