We do not clean our items - this has some patina & would polish up brighter silver Beautiful 800 silver keychain depicting what I believe is the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. The silver mosque looks as if it's floating on the white cloud. The white is a pearlized lucite (plastic). All the silver is 800 silver. The circle portion could easily be converted into a medallion & worn as a pendant. Just about 3-3/8" (8.6 cm) long overall. The circle portion alone is about 1-11/16" (4.2 cm) tall including it's own ring by about 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) wide by just under 3/16" (4.2 mm) thick. The back of the circle is marked '800' & the spring portion for keys is also marked but too worn to read. It was most likely also marked '800'. Weight - 10.7 g / .38 oz. The Blue Mosque in Istanbul Turkey, is officially known as The Sultan Ahmed Mosque or in Turkish, Sultan Ahmet Camii. It was built in the Ottoman-era from 1609-1616, during the rule of Ahmed I & contains his tomb. The mosque gets its name from hand-painted blue tiles in its interior, which produces a blue light at night that seems to frame the mosque's five main domes, six minarets & eight secondary domes.
