For your consideration is a vintage signed "Sermel Tonala Jalisco, Mexico" Papier Mache life size Duck sculpture. The Sermel workshop was founded in 1963 by Sergio Bustamante & Melquiades Preciado. To that end, the name "Ser-Mel " comes from combining the first 3 letters of their names. This amazing & hard to find sculpture measures 12" tall at the highest point; 19.5" deep; & 9" wide.
