The only issue with this stamp is that there is a small area where the stamp's gum has been disturbed. It's margin's are considered Fine because 2 out of it's 4 Margins are strong & the stamp's coloring is very Fresh. This stamp was made using Soft Porous Paper, Yellowish-White in color. The Way to tell the Difference between Hard Paper & Soft Porous: One can, however, differentiate between the stamps printed by Continental & American by determining which type of paper was used. Both National & Continental used hard paper, which is fairly white, has a smooth surface, & is uniform in thickness. in addition, the stamp is fairly translucent when held up to a window or a bright light. Hard paper is sometimes better referred to as being a grayish or bluish white. American, on the other hand, used soft paper, which is characterized by being thicker & having a coarser & uneven texture.
