Here is a very interesting character boy doll. I do not know much about him, but he appears to be a Hobo or a Drifter & is all Factory Original. He stands 15" tall. 6-pc all composition body. Has all fingers. No makers mark. His hat is nailed into his molded painted hair with very tiny nails. His stripe shirt & pants are sewn into him so I cannot undress him. He carries in one hand & umbrella & over his shoulder in his other hand a hobo sack on a stick. His hat, tie & waist band are made of wool. The hat & the band have some very small moth holes or ware from age. All painted facial features. Has a little paint roughness to his cheeks. I see no repaints & no repairs. He has black painted on shoes. I am naming him "Jimmy the Hobo" & he needs a home. He is tired of living from place to place & wants to settle in with YOU. Very interesting character doll that I can almost guarantee you will not see again. Seems he may be an early Carnival doll or Advertising/Novelty doll from a general store. He is very different.
