This crystal comes from a no longer accessible location in Wake County. in 2015 Chris Painter (owner of Hogg mine) was putting in water lines for the Costco off six forks Rd & found a deposit of quartz there. Awesome crystal, cool locale As a Raleigh native, I have lived a large chunk of my life right down the road from this locale & hold a special fondness for pieces from this location.
