I have painted Deadvlei, perhaps the most famous part of the Namib Desert with its petrified marsh forest & Big Daddy in the background. This desert, the larger Namib desert, where the desert meets the sea & the fact that it's the oldest desert in the world all make me want to visit Namibia so very much. & I will get there one day. Perhaps soon. ;) I have painted this with ink & acrylics on board with funky linework & a colorful bubble design throughout the image to give just a slight abstract feel to my usual style.
