Vintage collectible Rosemead/Wahpeton art pottery rust colored elephant with a partial original Rosemead label. The elephant measures 5" tall, 5.25" long & 2.5" deep. The Rosemead pottery was located in Wahpeton, North Dakota from 1940-1961. It was owned by Laura a Taylor & Robert Hughes. Laura loved to mix gold & orange colors to get the rust color of this elephant. This is a wonderful collectible piece of Rosemead pottery in excellent condition.
