This wood fired planter was colored by flames & glazed by the ash in the fire. It was fired in an anagama (Japanese for "cave kiln") stoked with wood every few minutes non-stop for five days. 9 1/2 inches at two widest points & 3 3/4 inches high. It has a small drainage hole.
