Small Narrow Louis XVI Style Trumeau Wall Mirror Gold Gilt Wood Antique Narrow Louis XVI style trumeau, composed of a mercury mirror at the bottom & an engraving at the top. The frame is in gilded wood, decorated with an engraving of a gallant scene under glass in the upper part & a rectangular mirror in the lower part. All in gilded wood. The engraving is titled " What does the abbot say?". ( illustration of Nicolas Lavreince -1739 - 1792) The mercury mirror is in perfect shape.
