This is a Dooney & Bourke Large Essex Bag in black & tan leather. Dooney & Bourke listed this bag as part of its 'All Weather Leather Collection Classics' & assigned style number 65 to this bag. This bag has the classic duck logo embossed on the flap over cover & its brass Dooney & Bourke Medallion. The interior tag states that it was made in USA with its serial number on the reverse side of the tag. This is a medium to large sized bag with plenty of features to keep you organized. It has a tan leather tongue & brass loop closure. The flap over cover opens into a spacious interior. There is a large hinged pocket inside. in addition there is a full length pocket on the rear of the bag with a brass peg & leather strap closure. It has an adjustable detachable strap with a 20 inch drop. There are brass feet on the bottom to protect the base of the bag. As far as we can tell from our catalog this style in the All Weather Leather Collection was available in a number of different AW Leather colors & trim color combinations. We would be happy to show you our vintage catalog on request. Condition: This bag is in very good condition. It has no rips, holes or tears. It is structurally sound. The hardware works as intended.
