Maybelline 1917 Cake Mascara RARE Collector item Museum all original complete w green brush glass mirror Makeup Cosmetics Beauty Eye Maybell While this Maybelline rarity from 1917 shows much vintage wear, it is complete with its original components. For collecting purposes only. This item is over a hundred years old. Please do not use antique or vintage cosmetics, they could cause health issues. The cardboard box has a paper hinge & a gold cardboard framed glass mirror! This glass mirror is dark with age & only casts a shadow of reflection, but it is intact which is more than I've seen in the other one in existence that I've seen. The old plastic original, green thermoset translucent handled brush remains & has raised words of: Japan Maybelline. The cardboard box itself is very hard to read & the color of the cardboard is somewhere between blue & purple. The cake mascara is Black; which can be read on the box lid.
