VERY RARE. Original c1898 Spanish American War pieces. Set/pair of 2. Issued during the Spanish-American War around 1898. Wonderful graphics. Each measures about 0.75 inches across by about 0.75 inches top to bottom. No markings on the backs. Long pins & open C latches function as intended. Both are intact & complete. Scarce matched set. General Pershing wore sets just like this in photos long after they were obsolete. Shows light typical wear & discoloration due to age. See pictures for condition. Has a nice patina.
