Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin (28 April 1870 - 6 January 1935), was a British artist & illustrator best known for his paintings & sketches of animals, sports, & rural life. His family of dogs were his best models & he published many books highlighting their charm & character. These are just a few of his bull dogs, & they have a tenderness expressing his own fondness for his 4 legged friends.
