This religious statuary is just BEAUTIFUL. A tall standing Virgin Mary, she stands atop a green serpent with arms & hands open. The detail of her face is just lovely. Made of plaster/Chalkware & cream in color, the base is in a gloss black. She stands 14" tall & will undoubtedly make a statement in any room she is placed. I believe this piece was made in France but is unmarked. Very lite wear. Chip at base of serpent, tiny Nic on thumb & rim of robe above the thumb. Wear is consistent with age.
