I've had probably 200 locks, many are the same manufacturers but just different models or sizes, rarely do I find a lock I havent seen before until this one. The Illinois Lock Company was founded in 1930 & opened on Taylor St West Chicago before moving to Wheeling, Illinois in 1960. This lock shares some manufacturing details with Corbin & Elgin & Independent Lock Co. One working key, lock measures 1 3/4" with a shackle clearance of 5/8" Vintage Late 1940's Illinois Lock Co.
