This is a beautiful large & very rare American ladies' magazine from 1899. Elite Styles is full of beautiful fashion plates illustrations advertising dressmaking patterns that were available by mail order. This issue features 26 very large pages of beautifully illustrated dress & hat fashions. The front, back & a few interior pages are the only pages printed in color. Condition: The magazine is in good but aged condition & has all pages (see photos) with some foxing & browning from age, light wear, & a few small creases & minor chips or tears. I have made a few small repairs with acid-free mending tissue. One page has had one figure cut out if it (about 6 x 1 inches), the bottom lower right pages have some bumped corners & creases. THere is also some very fain scuffing to the cover page that looks like a toothed pattern line tracer was rolled over it. Please examine the photos carefully for condition. It measures approximately 14" wide & 11" tall. Shipping: This item will be shipped in a large, stable cardboard mailer.
