An uber find for a "California" collector; this antique wooden yardstick is 36" in length, 1 3/8" in width, & 1/4" in thickness. in it's entirety it says: "SALINAS GLASS SHOP 225 Salinas St. Salinas, Calif. Phone 5968 Glass Work, Mirrors & Picture Framing - All Types Wholesale - Retail", & it is printed on both sides. in California telephone numbers expanded from three digits to four digits in December 1920 & remained four digits until December 1930... dating this yardstick from 1920 through 1930.
