... Please visit my Etsy store ... Cynthia https://rustedloveco.etsy.com This is for a very Large & wonderful Antique wood & Quadruple Plate (silver plate) stein that was made in the early 1900's. It is marked on the inside with the pat of - Aug 1 1905 & the makers name of St. Louis Silver Co. This Antique stein measures: 15 inches tall x 7 inches inches at the handle x 5 inches diameter at the base. It is a very heavy & solid piece of history. The relief silver plated design is of Oriental Koi Fish / Dragons & or Gargoyles all the way around the piece. The statement dragon handle is a wonderful eye catching addition to the large stein. The stein probably has wear on the silver plating. I only slightly cleaned it to add dimension to the design. With this I don't know the full condition. I didn't think being over 100 years old that shiny is the correct look for it & thus left most of the patina. This very unusual & uniquely large stein & will make for a wonderful addition to any collection as a wonderful conversation piece. All items are vintage & if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures. Please ask questions prior to purchase if there are concerns. Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can & to pass along fair prices. I do Not except returns or exchanges unless I erroneously forgot to declare a Major flaw. Remember most items will show wear. Assume items are preloved & or vintage & such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone & normal wear & tear. Remember vintage items have been used & will have small issues like surface scratches & age appropriate wear. I will show any major issues in my pictures as they are part of the description. If an item is damaged in shipping you agree to hold onto the item, box & packing materials until the claim is processed & I will need you to take any necessary pictures to file with the carrier. I take great care in packaging items correctly & shipping on time.
