A lovely vintage Scandinavian glass lion sculpture / paperweight / bookend made in the 1970's. Swedish Modernist Glass Design. It was designed by Bertil Vallien for Swedish company Kosta Boda. The lion is one of a number of animals which make up the Zoo series created by Vallien in the 1970s. The animals are flat blocks & look great when displayed with light behind them.
