Description

Beautiful cased vase with applied flower & amber vines. It is unsigned but after doing research, I found this exact vase & many other great Stourbridge glass pieces of England from the Stevens & Williams Co. which made art glass between 1880-1890. While the vase is in good pre-owned condition, there would have been possibly an amber leaf on the vase to the left of the flower. At some point, it must have broken off. It is a clean break with just a few residue marks on the vase. I did not know there was breakage at first glance. Look at the first photo. To the left of the flower is where the applied glass broke off. There are a few marks & production flaws on the vase such as some black inclusions that was a common issue with Victorian period glass. See all the photos for complete description. The vase stands 6 1/4" tall. It is roughly 3 1/2" at its widest point. The rim & diameter are both 2 1/2". Message me & I will cancel the sale & relist the item. Then proceed thru Etsy check-out again & edit the address. All buyers need to have their correct addresses listed in Etsy because the address listed when making purchases, is the address that prints out when making the label. If I have already shipped the order, I am unable to redirect a box in transit with the carrier. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for the "return to sender fee" (usually $5), plus the amount to ship the item again to the correct address. You may cancel the order instead of it being shipped again but the refund will be minus the "return to sender fee" plus the cost of the original shipping amount. What if the box is lost, stolen or missing? The Etsy shipping confirmation email contains the package tracking number. Once the package is taken to the carrier, it is the buyer's responsibility for tracking the package & securing possession of the package. If the buyer is unable to be present to accept the package personally at the time of delivery, the buyer should call the carrier to arrange for a hold. The buyer should contact the shipping agent to report a lost, stolen or missing box, call the police to file a report, contact Etsy directly at help.Etsy.com to report the package lost, stolen or missing. There is no insurance coverage for a lost, stolen, or missing box. The shop owner does not reimburse a lost, stolen or missing order. What if there is breakage? I do my best to ensure that purchased items are delivered intact. Once the box is at the carrier, how they handle the box is completely out of my control. The buyer has the responsibility to recoup losses due to damage in shipping. When filing a claim with the carrier (USPS, FedEx, UPS), you will need to attach a picture of the box, a picture of the damaged item in the wrapping, & a picture of the
