This is a beautiful good sized vintage teapot that's handcrafted. This tea pot is salt reduction fired. This is an expertly handcrafted pottery tea pot. An amazing find! Beautiful mauve & off white glaze. This is made of porcelain & salt reduction fired. It looks unused. Artisan made: marked "MC" on the bottom. I do not know who the maker is. The shape is just beautiful with a wide body, narrow spout & big handle. Very nice proportions. Large size holds 6 cups (48 fluid ounces). Measures about 7 1/2" tall x 6" wide across the widest part of the body. This is in excellent condition with no chips. Very clean. Similar handmade tea pots sell for $125 - $200 in galleries.
