Tall at 3/4 of an inch high, so shaking is a breeze to settle the drills in the squares! The perfectly fitted stopper stays put while you are working. The stopper is meant to fit one way, it will not go on upside down. & slides up & out when you want to pour. The front of the stopper is perfect for adding a label for organization. For special drills, I do have no line trays available in my other listings. Flat Front of stopper, Back & Sides are perfect for labeling (labels not included). Great for using writable tape on for labeling your colors. As an observation, if you find your drills getting stuck, while this is new, be patient, the more you use it the more it will smooth out with time as you knock the new off it, so to say! These are sturdy, functional & beautiful at the same time! One note, if you are using drills that are the same color as the case, it may be hard to see in low light!
