This reproduction old photo shows the Iwo Jima flag raising in February of 1945, during World War II. This handcrafted artwork is made using barn wood salvaged from structures in Illinois. We re-saw & mill the wood to make unique one-of-a-kind frames. Frames are then hand sanded & finished with the highest quality wax & buffed to a satin finish. Double strength glass is installed, & the print is mounted beneath the glass. We then add a vinyl lettering caption to the glass to give it a shadow box effect. Each frame had unique antique patina & imperfections, making it unlike other framed art. This is truly a vintage inspired piece that will add interest to any room! Optional caption available - up to 40 characters including spaces. If optional caption is chosen, it will replace the lettering at upper right. We will layout the caption so that it fills the available space. We will use our discretion to determine the best layout.
