This outstanding showpiece is designed in a Cleopatra collar style that's made with graduating trapezoid shapes that follow the curvature of the neckline & because of each panel's shape, it encourages the necklace to lay perfect on the neckline because of the angle in which the panels lay. This was designed architecturally correct, so it lays the way a well designed necklace should, along with being one of the most comfortable necklaces, when worn. All the turquoise is from Arizona with some cuts being from the Kingman mine,while others are from the Morenci mine. They are super chunky in size & graduate down in size as the design progress's to the back...The turquoise is bezel set & each lay atop of a darkened 'grilled' texture background & lay centered inside a mirror finished 6 mm to 8 mm thick sterling frame that has an elegant beveling while beautifully showcasing the 'free-form' cuts. The turquoise runs from deep to light blues,some having black matrix,to white quartz,to pyrite matrix & do nothing but help to give contrast to this piece.The trapezoid panels have a tubular top that gives them movement. Each panel is made of a non-bendable heavy gauge sterling so it's a very durable-strong feeling piece. Leading to the closure are sterling tubes & 5 mm beads. This is a real eye catching piece where there's no doubt,you won't be stopped a time or 2 when you wear it!
