Mini book is waterproof & will not bleed if you get caught in the rain. But as with all jewelry do not shower with your mini book jewelry. I use nickel free jewelry findings. The charm string is great for back backs & book bags or you can choose a lobster claw closure for your miniature book Charlottes Web. Also available an 18 inch necklace & or post earrings. I protect each book cover with a high quality finish that is water proof in case you are caught in the rain, but don't wear it while you are showering as with any jewelry.
