Our Sage Green Velvet Ribbon is a gorgeous warm light green, earthy color. Sage green is a soft shade, it is light enough that it can almost be treated as a neutral color. It pairs well with other nature-inspired earthy hues, such as our Light Taupe, Swiss Coffee, Light Gray, Mustard Seed, & Soft Fawn. If you want to make sage green feel more exciting, try pairing it with contrasting colors like our Dark Mauve. All ribbons are hand dyed & hand ripped in our Las Vegas, Nevada home studio. The ribbons are seamless & have raw torn edges to create that soft beautiful look. Because of the nature of silk velvet, you will notice a few things : (1) loose threads are common & can be easily fixed, just trim the thread with a sharp pair of scissors (2) velvet ribbons will produce "fluff," this should go away with time, this is just the beauty of velvet (3) silk can wrinkle easily, to smooth out your ribbon, you can gently iron it on the flat side (no fluff side) on low heat (4) our ribbons are handcrafted in small batches in our home studio, because of this, there will be slight differences in color from dye bath to dye bath (5) darker colors (especially red) can bleed when wet, make sure the ribbons are completely dry before handling (6) due to the nature of handmade products, the ribbons can vary slightly in width by a few millimeters Please note, that all computer monitors will display colors differently. When I photograph the ribbons (using natural light), I do try to capture the exact color you will be receiving. However, there might be a slight variance in the color & I cannot guarantee an exact match.
