Presenting a beautiful, rare & authentic antique woven & embroidered linen trim from the 1890's-1920's. I am uncertain of origin. This quality trim has a lovely Arts & Crafts (European) design featuring a beige linen ground that is thickly embroidered with Cornflower blue, pale yellow, pink, violet, green, brown & black cotton threads featuring a design that has tridents & x's. It is quite unusual & would look fantastic used for a belt, or as cuffs on a historical costume/frock. This trim is in excellent condition & very sturdy for its age. No stains, marks or holes although there might be a speck or pinhole that I missed. No odors or pet hair. It has wonderful texture. It is lined with more neutral linen on the back. Please note that the trim that you will receive is NOT finished along the edges as the length photographed in the first five photos (the horizontal edges are raw outside of the horizontal red line embroidery.) The edges can be turned under when you use the trim if you desire. Please view the 6th/last photo which shows this.
